Many happy memories were made having Louie as a lunch
partner in the beautiful Winter Garden at Channing L Bete many years ago. He was a brave man sharing his lunch and laughter with a bunch of
women! We covered a wide variety of topics of which he was always well versed but without a doubt his very favorite subject was his family!
He was a good man and shared his goodness with many. I´m sorry for your loss.

I met Louie 50 years ago , and can only say that we had some great times together. A favorite story was :
It was summer and we were all at the camp in Windsor ,it was traditional to go up on the hill( upper rear yard ) play basket ball or volleyball after dinner , then light a fire in the campfire pit and everyone yak around the fire , but it always got dark to soon and we some times couldn´t finish the game , we all decided it was time for a light up on the hill , so who do you call Louie, he came up that next Saturday afternoon and we strung wire and a switch from the basement to the hill and to the big tree , we needed a ladder , I went next door and got a ladder from the neighbor ,it was a wooden one , it was a 1/2 of a 30 foot ladder , neighbor wasn´t home , so I just narrowed it , brought it back and Louie looked at it and said " where did you get thing " I told him , he was nervous to say the least , I had gotten a light from my friend Larry , it was a headlight from a model T converted with a flood light baubles in it . We all laughed and joked about it being older than all of us togeather, there was a look of fear on Louie´s face with the thought of going up the ladder , it may have been as old as the light Louie said with a hesitant laugh , so up he went , about 8 rungs on the ladder against the tree , as he put the last screw in to hold the light up there was a unique sound of wood cracking , next thing we new Louie was descending Dow the ladder quickly with the rungs snapping like twigs , he went threw 6 rings before he stoped , his face was a pale shade of white !! And he was shaking , saying " I could have.Have been killed on this thing " , after that he took the ladder and broke it up and told us it was a death trap , we finished the light , and when the neighbor came back I told him of the demise of his ladder , he said " you didn´t climb on that thing , I had it in the burn pile " again Louie turned that same shade of white , we laughed over this light installation for many years to come , today that light still is mounted to the tree and will always be a beacon of Louie´s love and friendship to all of us , the camp is tstill in the family , and will be a fond remeoof my , Cousin , and great friend , Gonna miss you !!

So sorry for your loss Alice and family. My prayers are with all of you. I have so many good and funny memories of our times together. When Bob passed away you spent so much time with me and my girls on High Street. Our trips camping, to the cassino, to Washington D.C. and all the family gatherings. We had so much fun. You lived a good live and part of you will always be with us.
Jr. I will miss you.
