We had the opportunity to care for Hilda while she lived in Dayton. Hilda loved her family, her grand and great grandchildren so much, and was proud of the life she had made with Mr. Ed. Hilda was a lot of fun to take care of. She was so intelligent, simply in need of a hand. I used to help her get ready in the mornings. With time, we never left her home without a spritz of perfume and a pick for her hair! She loved the salon and going to bingo. Before she left Dayton, she attended a church service and brought home with her a song sheet with "The Old Rugged Cross" on it. She kept it close and sang it to herself. It believe it brought her a lot of peace. She left a mark on us and as much as we wish she didn´t leave her home in Dayton, we understood the need. And now, we send Mr. Ed, her daughters and their families our love.
