William John Lipsey

1963 - 2024

William John Lipsey, age 60, went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2024. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on August 26, 1963. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Lipsey Lane, and stepfather, Edward Lane, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his sister Alanna Gay Lipsey.

Bill worked for AutoZone for forty years, spending most of this time serving as Director of Catalog and Content / Director of Catalog Optimization. He had a great love for his family, friends, and AutoZone family. Bill loved fast cars, playing golf, going to Pickwick Lake, and attending his children's sporting events. In addition, Bill was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.

Bill is survived by his wife April Taylor Lipsey; his daughter, Madison Reese Lipsey; and son, Reid William Lipsey. He is also survived by his two step-brothers, Edward Lane, Jr. (Kim), and Ben Lane (Bridgett).

There will be a visitation and funeral service on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Bellevue Baptist Church, 2000 Appling Road, Cordova, TN 38016. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm and funeral service following at 2:00 pm.
