Gerald Cotter Obituary
Lakeland, FL - Gerald "Jerry" Samuel Cotter, 75, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on July 12, 2024. He was born on July 8, 1949 in Manhattan, New York. Jerry was employed by Liebman Optical in Easthampton, Massachusetts for 22 years until the company closed in 2014. He retired from Pioneer Precision Optics in Florence, Massachusetts after four years with them in 2019. Jerry moved with his wife Diane to Lakeland in October 2020. He loved saltwater fishing, gaming, and his motorcycle. He also enjoyed getting together with friends in the Schalamar Creek Community. Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Cotter, father, Calvin Cotter, and sister, Patricia Frayler. He is survived by his wife, Diane, son, Alexander Cotter, mother, Mary Cotter, sister, Geraldine Appel, niece, Raven Kirschenneuter, and nephew, Stephen Frayler. Burial will be in Massachusetts.
