Imre loved to ride bicycles and one of his favorite memories was the time he biked across the State of Georgia..an accomplishment of which he was very proud. He did not want to give up biking and was told that at his age, the last thing he needed to do was fall off his bike.

Imre was very proud to have arrived in this country as and impoverished immigrant, not speaking one word of English.when asked how he survived.. the answer was one short sentence.. "when you are hungry, you can do anything. A year or so after arriving her, he joined the army as a fast track to citizenship. He was so proud having earned two bronze stars for his service in Vietnam. And often reminisced about his harrowing experiences flying helicopter rescue missions ; he also served in the Korean War.
There is a lovely photo of his beloved wife, Carrie, pinning a metal on him.
He was a very loving husband and father and grandfather, and great grandfather. He also had loving memories of Carrie´s family, the Braswells,
He had a long successful career with a local Atlanta family owned company and was a font of memories about his time there.
In his last year, he loved to go fishing every week, and hiking the mountains of n. Georgia, he also had many memorable trips, visiting favorite spots he had enjoyed camping with hi family. He had many many friends at the Mansions who miss him very much.
