May I offer my sincere condolences to Mark, Gloria, Michael and Tracy in the loss of their beloved Bridget. May God, in His mercy, extend to y'all an extra measure of His peace, comfort and strength during your time of sorrow and loss. May the truth of the Holy Scriptures and the love of family and friends be an ever present comfort in the coming days.
I came to know Bridget while attending Wednesday night services at Bellevue Baptist Church in 1985. Our mutual friend, Lanny, introduced us and a sincere and honest friendship grew and flourished. We would dine together every Wednesday night and then listen to Dr. Rogers sermons. Our friendship continued while I was in the military, and Bridget visited me at Fort Hood and in Biloxi. Bridget was my best lady friend and there was no woman in the world, besides my mother, sisters and cousins, whom I loved more. I rejoiced with her marriage to Mark knowing she had found the life for which she had longed.
I was greatly saddened to hear of her "home going" and mourned her absence in this life. There are few who can compare to her sweetness, compassion, thoughtfulness and love of the Lord Jesus. I know she is in Heaven now, without pain and perfectly healed, praising the Savior and fellowshipping with her beloved parents, Rhonda and many loved ones. Rest in peace my beloved friend. Thank you for your love and being so special! I miss you and hope to see you soon.
Love, your friend,
Arnold
