Richard Orr Obituary

Richard James Orr age 69 of Cordova, Tennessee passed away on September 13, 2024.

He was born on September 29, 1954 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Joseph Johnstone Orr and Dorothy Mae Little Hollis. Mr. Orr taught at Briarcrest Christian School for over 30 years during which time he impacted the lives hundreds of students.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Hookings Orr; son, Matthew Daniel Orr of Memphis; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Glass and her husband Robert Justin Glass of Columbia, Maryland and two grandchildren. Other survivors include his brother, Joseph Johnstone Orr of Denver, Colorado.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Briarcrest Christian School Sparks Chapel, 76 S Houston Levee Rd, Eads, TN 38028, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00 PM.
