Born in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late William Harold and Sue Radebaugh Anderson. He earned a Bachelor's and Master's in Aviation Technology from Purdue University in 1972. He concluded as a Senior Reliability Program Specialist at FedEx. His more than 50 years in air transport reliability continues to have an industry-wide impact. Ric was a long-time member of Central Church, Highpoint Church, and Grace Valley Church. He was also a proud Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and a NASCAR enthusiast. His passion for history led him to become a founding member of the Sultana Historical Preservation Society.
