Thomas Neil "Tommy" Tolleson

1950 - 2024

Thomas "Tommy" Neil Tolleson of Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2024.

Tommy was born in Nashville, TN, on February 3, 1950, the son of Earl and Margaret Tolleson. Tommy attended Glendale Elementary and Overton High School in Nashville before moving to Memphis to attend college at Memphis State University. At MSU, Tommy made many lifelong friends as a proud member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Tommy graduated with a B.A. degree in Marketing and went on to work at Midsouth Marketing where he excelled as a manufacturing sales representative. In his spare time, he enjoyed cheering on the Memphis Tigers, playing golf, and most importantly spending time with his two daughters, and later, grandchildren.

Tommy's warm personality, easygoing nature, and unforgettable sense of humor lit up every room, and he rarely let a conversation go without cracking a joke. He was a beloved and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a wonderful friend.

Tommy is survived by his daughters, Beth (Mark) Donley and Kristen Tolleson; brother, Bob (Jane) Tolleson of Bonita Springs, FL; two beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Hannah; nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Tolleson; mother, Margaret Campion Tolleson; and sister, Beverly Goodwin.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Brookdale Dogwood Creek in Germantown, TN, for their loving care for Tommy these last four years. They would also like to thank the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, TN for their exceptional care as well.

Visitation with the family will be held at Collierville Funeral Home on Tuesday October 15th at 1pm, with a Funeral Service immediately following at 2pm.
