Live Stream Link: https://www.facebook.com/haroldfordfuneralchapel Betty was born October 17th, 1941 at 12:11am at John Gaston Hospital in Memphis, TN. to parents Ellis Brooks and Minnie Dodson Brooks. Her father, Ellis Brooks, was a Pastor at Cypress Creek Primitive Baptist Church where she will be laid to rest in her family cemetery. She had many great aspirations as a young lady which included traveling the globe. She was an expert in geography and astronomy. She often had discussions with her eldest son about the position of the sun in various seasons, the equinox, and other celestial matters. She graduated from Melrose High School in 1959. She mastered short hand, glee club, and sang jazz occasionally in New York. Betty was relentless in providing for her family. She started out at Frisco Railroad in the 70's. She fearlessly walked the line in the middle of the night as a new-hire performing track inspections. Due to her certifications, one of which being short-hand dictations, she was promoted to secretary for the senior leadership. She maintained an immaculate work history while raising three children, quite often as a single mother. She received her wings on October 11th, 2024. She leaves in indelible memory three children, Seleno "Sal" Crocker, Toi Page, Charles "Chuck" Page Jr., One grandson - Sean Crocker, One Daughter-in-Law - Eurydice Crocker, One Sister - Janice Terry, The following nieces and nephews: James "Snooky" Brooks, Reggie Brooks, Douglas Brooks, Leigh-Ann Hernandez, Deidra Brooks-Maldonado, Ellis Brooks Jr., John Terry, Joseph Terry Jr., Janice Smith, William Terry, Gwen McCuin, James McCuin.
