Dear Todd and Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. While I didn't have the chance to know your father, I can truly empathize with the pain of losing a parent. Please know that you are in my prayers during this difficult time.

With heavy hearts today, Gene Edmondson´s family, friends & those he mentored are laying him to rest with full military honors. Gene & his wife of 62 years, Janet, reared two fine sons perhaps their greatest accomplishment. Gene was a loyal & dedicated father. When he saw a need, he was all in. He served on the school board, coached sports & I´ve heard he even coached cheer leading. Gene led by example so that he taught not only his sons, but he also mentored their friends as well, teaching how to repair things, do construction, work on cars, etc. He was witty & I heard many of his one liner quips. His was a life well lived. Those who loved him & knew him well will be comforted by the many memories he created & shared.
Gene was part of the camaraderie of the brotherhood of veterans who sacrificed & stand by each other in life & in death. So, with caring & respect, we can say so long for now,
Until Valhalla, Gene.
