David Palazolo Obituary

David Alan Palazolo was born June 21st,1952 in Memphis Tennessee, He passed away October 8th, 2024, in Ramsey Minnesota. David graduated from Christian Brothers High School, class of 1970, then Christian Brothers University with a degree in electrical engineering in 1975. He went to work for Process Systems Inc. as a project engineer and later became a design consultant for Rockwell Automation. In 1994 he met his wife Kimberly while facilitating a Christian singles group. They married in 1996 at Christ Methodist Church in Memphis and continued to serve in ministry together to help others deepen their relationships with Christ. They also lived five years in North Carolina and eighteen years in Arkansas. They then moved to Minnesota for better medical care for David and the children.

Just as God adopted us in Christ, David adopted Kimberly's two sons and continued to adopt six children of all different ages, races, and abilities with Kimberly. David and Kimberly have seven grandchildren and one on the way. David was an active, devoted, and involved father and was known as 'Big Daddy' by his grandchildren. David's friends, Father God, his wife, children, and grandchildren defined his life.

David was a selfless man of God. His example reminds us to cherish our loved ones, live life with a positive outlook, and find joy in the simple things of life. He found peace and freedom surrounded by nature and family. David had a passion for reading, the mountains, hiking, family camping vacations, The Beatles, and shortbread cookies. David is remembered for his quick wit and dry humor. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones after a valiant battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, a form of leukemia. He relied on his deep faith in Christ to see him through years of physical pain and cancer treatments. God has surely told Him, "Well done my good and faithful servant". Matthew 25:21

David is preceded in death by his parents, Marguerite Rose (Stevenson) and Salvatore Jasper Palazolo of Memphis, Tennessee.

David was succeeded in death by his wife Kimberly, their eldest son Korey, his wife Tess, their son Kalan, and their baby due in May. Son Arron, his wife Lacy, and their children Denton, Aiden, Spencer, and Phoebe. Daughter Josephine and her daughters Lilly and Esther. Daughters Luciana, Adriana, and Milana. Sons, Samuel, and Lucas. As well as his brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Sandra Palazolo, of Memphis Tennessee, and his sister and brother-in-law Diane and William Tylavsky of Export, Pennsylvania. And many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family is working on plans for a Celebration of Life Hike to be held in the Smokey Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. To those who would like to join, please contact Kimberly at [email protected]. David's biggest concern was that his family would be cared for after his passing. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
