Dan Rasor Obituary
age 83, of Oakwood, OH, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024. A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 pm, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH 45429, with a memorial service to follow at 5 pm. Private family inurnment at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oakwood Schools Foundation - Grants Endowment Fund #3440 or The Foodbank, Inc. Full obituary can be found at www.Routsong.com.

Very sad to hear of "Dr. Dan's" passing. He was a wonderful man,and a strong influence on myself and many of my friends at Oakwood High School. His presence on the sidelines during our football games and practice, was a warm fatherly experience. He gave his expertise and professionalism not just to us,but to any other team we happened to be playing. This was back on the days when the Athletics Trainer was in its infancy, and not all schools had one. He was a fantastic person. His academic classes were fun as well. I'm proud to have known this gentleman. I think of him often.

Mr Rasor was my teacher and trainer back in the 80´s and he was a truly great man with both . My heart goes out to his family and I thank Mr Rasor for being such an inspiration to not just myself but thousands in the Oakwood community.

Mr. Rasor was a favorite teacher of mine and I worked with him as a student trainer and he taught me a lot from earth science to taping ankles etc. He was well respected around the area as a top rated trainer but most of all I could call him a friend. You will be missed!
