Jeffrey Scott Davis, 57, of Collierville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Baptist Collierville Hospital. Born on March 19, 1967, in Rome, NY, to Thomas Gaston and Jacqueline Joyce Davis, Jeffrey's passion for aviation began at a young age. From the moment he could dream, he knew he wanted to become a pilot-a dream he worked tirelessly to fulfill. Flying was not just a career for Jeffrey; it was his greatest passion. He proudly served as a pilot for 25 years before retiring. Jeffrey's love for the skies and his dedication to his work will be remembered by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Gaston Davis and his stepfather, Richard Trentlage. Jeffrey leaves behind his two children, Taylor Davis (Kennedy) and Megan Davis; his mother, Jacqueline Joyce Trentlage and his sisters, Susan Jennings (Michael) and Pat Kelley. He also leaves behind his grandson, Atlas Heart Davis. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, Ms 38654. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville, TN

In the short time I knew Jeff, I was struck by both his kindness and his wit. He adopted a kitten from me, and loved her so much. Condolences to all his loved ones. I hope his two cats are well and I know he will be terribly missed by them and his human family, so much.
