Mrs. Jackson was a force to be reckoned with while in grade school. Reconnecting as an adult and exposing my children to her was a pure gift, and we are all the better for it. Her legacy shall surely live on through her students, and those of us who have been impacted by her presence.
Love you always, "Muh!"

Mavis Jackson was my favorite and most influential teacher. I am saddened to hear of her passing, but know that she has left a legacy that will forever live in the hearts and minds of many of the students she invested in. I included her name in my doctoral dissertation as a strong influencer in my life. I will never forget her investment in me.

Dear Jackson Family,
I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of your mother, Mavis Jackson. She was an incredible person who touched so many lives, not only through her passion for teaching and mentoring students but also through her dedication to the community. Her wisdom, kindness and leadership will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
I am grateful to have had her as a neighbor and friend and I will always remember the warmth and generosity she showed to everyone around her. Please know that my thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Bernadette Gerren
