Kelly Ruckman Obituary
KELLY JEAN RUCKMAN, 63, of Springfield passed away on December 30, 2024. She was born in Bermuda on October 5, 1961, to her parents Marvin and Jonnie (Campbell) Wethington. Kelly graduated from Wayne High School in 1979. She was a devoted volunteer for the Salvation Army and spent many years serving annually at Christmas time for their toy drive. When she wasn't volunteering or working, you could always find her reading or doing a crossword puzzle or spending time outside in her garden. She was a self-proclaimed "Swifty" being a huge fan of Taylor Swift and always enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. Kelly will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Kelly is survived by her father Marvin, her children Kira Ruckman and Kelly Jo Hampton (Shawn), grandchildren Jinx, Cale, and Callie, siblings Julie Valentine, Marva Screws, and Connie Wethington, mother-in-law Beverly Ruckman, and sisters-in-law Debra Bradley (Ken) and Kimberly Ruckman. She is preceded in death by her mother Jonnie, her loving husband of 39 years Joe Ruckman, infant son Wesley Ruckman, nephew Jason Marshall, father-in-law Charles Ruckman and brother-in-law Jim Valentine.
