Dorothy Raburn

Dorothy Frances Raburn, born June 19, 1934, entered into eternal rest on January 7, 2025, at the age of 90.
A loving wife, mother, neniemaw, and great-grandmother, Dorothy's charismatic spirit and caring nature touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was known for her infectious laugh, radiant smile, and kind heart that brightened every room she entered. Her love for others was unmatched, and her legacy is one of joy, compassion, and faith.
Dorothy's devotion to God was a cornerstone of her life. She developed a deep and meaningful relationship with the Lord and found great fulfillment in attending church. She cherished playing the piano for her church family, where her music became an extension of her love for God and others.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alvin F. Raburn, her parents, and eight siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Hindmon and Ginger Raburn; her grandchildren, Ella Swatek, Sara Eslinger, Stacie Hindmon, and Nathan Hindmon; as well as her great-grandchildren, Alexis Maine, Tj Maine, Bubba Maine, Luna Keffer, Lena Keffer, Aidan Manning, Ashtyn Swatek, Adien Swatek, and Addison Swatek. Dorothy also leaves behind a great-great-grandchild, Hudson Hernandez.
Dorothy's life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and faith. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
