I can see him right now with his dog on his lap, smoking his pipe, logs stacked as high as the sky and that grin as he looks down from the cab. I have to say one of the best times in my life was hanging out with Wayne and his family.

Growing up in Sutton, everyone knew Wayne. I have very fond memory of him, went to school with Berry. We all loved the Wheeler family. I’m so sorry for you loss of a great man.

I had known Wayne all my life( I am 85) Went to school with him. When I lived at Fox Chase He would plow a place in a marsh so my sister and I could go Ice Skating. One winter I had to stay in N.H. at my Moms house on Bradford and Wayne plowed the driveway for me. He was a good friend.

I met Wayne in his garage in the early sixties on Main Street, Bradford. I got to know him well in the seventies as a friend and customer at Knoxland Equipment. I always enjoyed being able to help him. I learned that he was a real good, caring and hardworking man that loved life and family. I am so glad that I was at Hopkinton Fair when Wayne stopped at the Knoxland Booth. We had a wonderful visit with the same old Wayne I always knew and respected. He will always be in my heart as a valued friend.
