Nancy Ballou Gosselin

Vero Beach, FL - Nancy B. Gosselin, 81, passed away, January 9, 2025 at Indian River Medical Center.

She was born on July 13, 1943 in Hanover, New Hampshire, daughter of Leonard J. and Eugenie (Nolan) Ballou. She graduated from Hartford High School in White River Junction, Vermont, in 1961. Nancy then graduated from Fisher Junior College, Boston, MA, in 1963. She worked for one year in Hawaii as a medical secretary before moving back to Vermont.

On October 17, 1964, Nancy married James F. Gosselin I, of Lebanon, NH and just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They settled in West Lebanon, NH where they raised three children. Nancy and Jim would vacation in Vero Beach, Florida and York Beach, Maine. They moved to Florida in 2010. Nancy volunteered at Indian River Medical Center at the main desk and Hospice for many years.

She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Denielle (Wade) Neily; daughter, Monique (Roy) Amitrano and son, James F. (Sandra Spaulding) Gosselin II; five grandchildren: Katrina Punt of Dover, NH; Emily Sullivan of Milton, NH; Sara Neily of Claremont, NH; Nathan Neily of Cornish, NH; Makayla Gosselin of Grafton, NH and four great-grandchildren: Brady and Norah Craig of Dover, NH; Kendall Sullivan of Milton, NH; Genevieve Sweeney of Claremont, NH; brother, Robert Ballou of Hartford, VT; brother-in-law, Thomas Berry of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law, Dolly Scelza of White River Junction, VT; sister-in-law, Jana Barry of Homosassa, FL; sister-in-law, Priscilla Gosselin of Lebanon, NH; sister-in-law, Marie-France St. Cyr, Sherbrooke, QC; and many nieces and nephews and good friends.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Thomas S. Ballou and her sister, Suzanne B. Berry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon, NH on June 4, 2025 at 7pm. A Graveside Service will take place on June 5, 2025 at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lebanon, NH at 10am.
