Nicholas, Jack E.

Jack E. Nicholas, age 92, of Spring Texas, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on December 22, 2024, at his home. He was born on February 27, 1932, to the late Everett H. and Helen May (Williams) Nicholas in Dayton. Jack was the Superintendent of the Press Room at McCall's for 32 years before he retired. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member and past master of John Durst Masonic Lodge #716 in Dayton, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, and York Rite Victory Chapter. Above all, Jack enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. Jack is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Scott E. (Janet) Nicholas, grandchildren: Megan H. (Damon) Clark, & Ryan Roye, great grandchildren: Ty, Kai, & Kiana Clark, along with numerous relatives and friends he leaves to cherish his memory. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Patricia Ann (Bunger) Nicholas. The family will be having a Service at 11:00 am on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd. Englewood, Ohio 45322). A Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of Service. Burial will follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville, Ohio.
