April 1, 1947 - March 7, 2026
Milton Nicholas, 78, of Egg Harbor Township New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 1,1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Milton dedicated many years to his career at Verizon, (formerly Bell Telephone), where he served as Director of the Engineering Department.
He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War 1967-1968. Milton was a devoted member of New Life Assembly of God in Egg Harbor Township. An avid outdoorsman and enthusiast, he loved golfing, motorcycling, camping, fishing, and duck hunting. Above all he cherished spending time with family and friends.
Milton is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carol; two daughters, Julie Echevarria (Edwin) of Egg Harbor Township and Corinne Nicastro (Vincent) of Parkesburg, Pennsylvania; his proud grandchildren, Breeanna Nicholas, Amanda, Madison (fiancé John), Ian Lloyd, Christian, Nicholas and Nicole Taylor; and great-grandfather of Noah Zizza. He is also survived by his sister Jackie LaRusso (Joe) of Egg Harbor Township; niece Lisa Summers; nephew Joseph Burchell; and many loving great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Eldon and Gladys Nicholas.
Milton will be deeply missed. His love, strength, and cherished memories will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Viewing will be held On Friday, March 13, 2026, at New Life Assembly, 5071 Fernwood Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a service. Interment will follow at Richards E. Squires Atlantic County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Estell Manor, New Jersey.
