Veronica Boisvert Obituary

Veronica M. Boisvert

Concord, NH - Veronica M. Boisvert, age 96, a longtime resident of Stone Street in Concord, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, at Pine Rock Manor in Warner NH.

She was born in Detroit, MI on May 7th, 1928, the daughter of the late Joseph and Genoria (Cote) Bolduc.

She worked for many years for Blue Cross Blue Shield and then following her retirement, went to work part time at the Concord Monitor in the circulation department.

Veronica (Ronnie) enjoyed all forms of dancing. She was a member of the Concord Coach Square dance group and took pride in making her own dance outfits. She was also a member of a group that did sacred dancing, performing at various churches. After Holiday dinners, she, her brother, sisters and others were known to have danced the polka in the large kitchen.

She was a devote Catholic and communicant of the former Sacred Heart Parrish in Concord. She was active in church functions and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

She enjoyed gardening from a young age and maintained a garden with her husband well into their 80's. As a young girl she would load up her wagon with produce from the family garden and sell it to the locally owned South end markets. An avid walker, she walked 2 miles daily in 20 minutes. When she wasn't walking gardening, sewing or cooking, she enjoyed camping with family and friends.

Family reunions were a favorite. They hosted a huge reunion annually in September for many years with the entire extended family in attendance. They also traveled to a family reunion in Canada annually.

She is survived by her children, Edward Boisvert and his wife Susan of Loudon, Annette Clark and her fiancé William Marshall of Pembroke, and David Boisvert and his fiancée Elaine Sargent of Concord; 2 grandchildren, BreeAnn and Erin Boisvert; 4 great grandchildren, Andrew and Harper Morrissette, Noah Boisvert and Dominyk McNamara; and one great great grandson, Levi McNamara; her brother, Richard Bolduc of Concord and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Roland A. Boisvert; her son Joseph Boisvert and one grandson, Kearney Boisvert; and her 2 sisters, Rita Vachon and Doris McKenna.

Memorial Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 5 to 7 PM at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.

Burial for Veronica and for Roland will be in the Spring at the NH State Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Christ the King Parish in Concord NH.
