Paul Jones Obituary

Paul Johnathan Jones of Bartlett, TN passed away Sunday, Feb. 16th, 2025 at the age of 64 after a long illness. Paul was born in Memphis to Jerry and Gloria Jones. He was not only a loving husband but a good son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a good friend. He began his railroad career at just 19 years old with L&N, which later became CSX. His work took him from Memphis to Mobile and back before he transferred to Union Pacific in New Orleans. Eventually, he returned to Memphis with CN. After moving back, he also spent several years working part-time at FedEx. Paul is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pam Jones; his children, Angela Wilson, Rebecca Aeschliman (Phillip), Christian Spratlin (Chris) and Paul Johnathan Jones II (Staci); and his 11 grandchildren, Brena, Logan, Callie, Maddie, Hadley, Mila, Thomas, Savannah, Abby, Sammie, Trey (Paul Johnathan Jones III) and his great grandson Kylan Spratlin. Paul also leaves behind his brothers, Jerry "Skip" Jones and David Jones. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Jones, and mother, Gloria F. Jones, and his oldest brother, Ricky Jones.
