Janet McCutchen Obituary

Janet Sue McCutchen, age 79, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Janet was born in Memphis, TN on July 24, 1945 to L.C. and Hazel Williams. She graduated from Southside High School and was proud to be a Scraper. She served as a legal secretary for Spicer, Flynn, and Rudstrom for 30 years. Upon retirement, she devoted her time to her family and friends, traveling, and spending time at the river house in Savannah, TN with her late husband, Jim "Bear" McCutchen. Janet leaves behind her son, Mike Misenheimer, daughter-in-law, Shelly Misenheimer, granddaughters, Hannah & Callie Misenheimer as well as her late brother, Mike Williams, sister-in-law, Linda Williams, and 3 nieces, Kandy Williams, Mary Cuyler, and Diana Adams along with a long list of cousins and loving, devoted friends. A visitation for Janet will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.Her funeral service will occur Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. The graveside will occur Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133.
