Jennifer "Jenni" Elizabeth Adams, 52
Jennifer "Jenni" Elizabeth Adams, born July 30, 1972, in Plainfield, NJ, passed away peacefully in her cherished "Bee House" in Collierville, TN, on March 3, 2025.
Jennifer grew up in Mountain Lakes, NJ, and later graduated from Roanoke College in Salem, NC. Her adventurous spirit led her to Orlando, FL, where she worked in the International Programs Department at Walt Disney World. It was there that she met the love of her life, Scott Adams. In 1996, they married and built a beautiful life together, first in Memphis, TN, and then in Collierville, TN where they welcomed their greatest blessings, Noah and Molly.
A devoted wife and mother, Jennifer dedicated herself to homeschooling their children through elementary and middle school. She had an unstoppable passion for life, playing soccer in high school and college, later becoming a multiple-marathon runner. Her compassion extended beyond her family, as she devoted years to rescuing and fostering dogs, working with various humane societies and rescues. Over time, she cared for 226 foster dogs and assisted in countless rescue transports, ensuring they found safe and loving homes. Jennifer had a deep love for travel, exploring the world with Scott and their children. Whether visiting dear friends in Norway and Sweden, embarking on cruises, or returning to where her love story began at Walt Disney World, she embraced every journey with joy and wonder.
Throughout her courageous three-year battle with cancer, Jennifer remained a beacon of grace and faith. She was always kind, expressing appreciation for every healthcare worker she encountered. Her unwavering love for Jesus Christ was evident in her gentle spirit, as she continued to encourage and pray for others, even in her most difficult moments.
Her final word, "Now," was a profound testament to her faith, as her family believes she was answering her Savior's call to her eternal home in heaven.
Jennifer is survived by her devoted husband, Scott; her beloved children, Noah and Molly; her mother, Nancy Sankovich; her father, Paul Browning, and stepmother, Kathleen Johnson; her in-laws, Billy and Johnnie Adams; her siblings, David Browning, Jessica (Jerad) Browning, Susan (Stephen) Davis, Eileen (Drew) Bishop, and Grace (Ben) Browning; her step-siblings, Kimberly (Glen) Manganello and James Sankovich; and her cherished pets, Hans and Solo. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends. Jennifer was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Rose Blanch and Foster Perrine; paternal grandparents, Irene and Ralph Browning; stepfather, James Sankovich; and brothers-in-law, Gene Adams and Paul Adams.
