Russell, Karin told me today that you've gone home to be with the Lord. I stopped by the shop today to wish you a happy 4th of July weekend. I'm sorry that so many years had passed since I had visited with you. I stopped by the shop today to wish you a happy 4th of July weekend. I had great fun delivering pianos with you and Carroll in the 1970's when I was a music major, a college student at Memphis State. You and your great dad inspired my love for the piano. I am very saddened to hear of your passing, Russell, but know that God has a great man and musician by his side. With my heart, I pray the Lord bring comfort to Karin, your children and family. Much love and affection, Russell. Goodbye dear brother. I will always remember you.

My post should read Psalm 116:15, NOT 166. Apologies.

It was always a pleasure to run into Russell!! We had a connection to his family through the years......piano lessons with his mom, at church, my Dad worked with his, etc. He will be greatly missed, but is celebrating in his forever home with our Lord!! My prayers are with the entire family now and in the days ahead. Psalm 166:15

We at the Center City Commission worked with Rusty and his dad many times in the days of the big downtown music festivals of the 1970s and 80s. They were both so knowledgable and helpful in getting us the pianos the musicians would appreciate. My condolences to the family.
