Jim was a groomsmen when Jim and I were married. My husband, Jim Hart, skied with Larry Burden, Greg Wilson, Bob Hurm and Tesno. That's what we called him, Tesno. We had a lot of good times with him and the rest of the guys. I was just telling my daughter about his old Barracuda. We used to say he held it together with wire hangers and bubble gum! Jim was a great guy, always had a smile on his face and was always a friend. He will be missed!

Jim was a very good friend, we went fishing in Canada more than once. He loved the outdoors and always shared his love for it. I could always count on a phone call from Jim, on Veterans Day, he would thank me and all Veterans for their service. I will always remember him for his kindness.

Mary, I never met your brother, but felt like I knew him. You talked about him much over the years and I know he was special in you life. I think over time, you will understand he is at peace now as I have with losses in my life.
Much love to your family.

I just can't...
I can't believe Jim didn't tell me how bad his health really was, while showing his concern for mine, obviously while he was suffering. Over the last year, we kept planning to get together for another dinner, although my health and his fishing trips kept getting in the way.

We didn't realize, until recently, that he knew my Mother-in-law, Harriet, through his former Brother-in-law, Deane Armour. It's such a small world.

Jim was my attorney, and helped my late husband, once, with a referral. But, as he always showed others goodness and generosity...as the kind, Godly man he was...he was my friend, and I miss him, already.

Theresa, and others who loved Jim, I am so sorry for your loss, and pray that we'll all see your father again, in heaven. Because, I know he'll be there.

Father, thank you for giving us the opportunity to have this man in our lives, if just for a short while; whose soul is now in the hands of your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, forever. Amen

We didn't stay in touch in our adult years, but I have so many fond memories of Jim from our days at Club Island when we were kids. They are happy memories, which I will always cherish.
I extend my deepest sympathy to Theresa, Mary and all of Jim's family. You've endured so much loss and I pray that God will give you comfort, healing and peace in the days ahead. May Jim be resting in God's eternal kingdom, one that is far more glorious than we can ever imagine. ❤

Teresa,
Jenny, John, and I are so sorry for the loss of both your parents so closely together. That kind of loss is unfathomable. We hope you are able to continue on and live the life they wanted you to live. Think of your parents and Katherine and know that they love you, as do we.

Theresa, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. Dennis and him had great times fishing at lake Erie. I remember the time you went with them and caught that big salmon. And when Dennis passed away he was there for me and that was August 2023 when Jim was going through a rough time in his life. Jim is a great guy. Sorry I won't be able to make the services but know I will be thinking of you. Sending prayers.

Jim was indeed a good man. Treated everyone the same and equally. I was one of the vets he called every year and can say he is the only person that ever done that. He had a great wit and could come up with just the right remark for any occasion. Will miss you at mass ,we always did our little wave. Rest in peace Jim.

Such a good man and attorney. He helped so many over the years. Always called veterans on Veteran's Day.
Excelled in appellate court work.
A top flight water skier.
We started in the practice the same day about 50 years ago in a second story building across the hall from each other. Friends from the beginning.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his daughter, family and friends. He will be missed.
