Boscawen , NH - Sharon A. Parmenter, 78, of Boscawen, passed away with family and friends by her bedside on the evening of July 2, 2025 at Concord Hospital.

Sharon was born in Plymouth, NH on December 19, 1946, the first daughter to her father Charles Magoon and her mother Doris (Hodgdon) Magoon following her nine brothers.

After spending her early childhood growing up on her family's farm in Dundee, MI, Sharon lived on Detroit Beach in Monroe, MI where she had fond memories of summers on the beach with her sister. Sharon graduated from Jefferson High School in Monroe, and moved to New Hampshire in her twenties. Here she was married and became a mother to her two daughters Pamela (Thiem) Shaw and Michelle Thiem. Sharon pursued higher education at Franklin Pierce College and worked as an Accountant for the State of New Hampshire.

Sharon was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, as well as the matriarch of her family.

Sharon spent her last years living at home with multiple generations of family in their home in Boscawen. She will be remembered for her unwavering support and dedication to her family, her love for music and the arts, and her love for animals. Sharon was a talented artist specializing in watercolor painting; her artwork is displayed in the home's of her family and friends to be enjoyed for many years to come.

Sharon lives on in her sister Greta (Magoon) Doughty, her two daughters Pamela (Thiem) Shaw and Michelle Thiem, and her step-daughter Teri Bedell. Sharon was a proud grandmother to her grandchildren Alyssa Thiem, Ethan Thiem, Kaiden Bedell, and Emerson Bedell, as well as her great-grandchildren Ryleigh Thiem, Liam Thiem, and Oliver Rodrick. In addition to her immediate family Sharon has multiple generations of nieces and nephews she so loved keeping in touch with.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sharon's Home at 28 Sweatt Street in Boscawen, NH at 1:00 in the afternoon. Anyone who wishes to pay tribute to her life and everlasting memory are welcome to attend.
