Lisa Hochberg Obituary

Lisa M. Hochberg

Concord, NH - Lisa Marie (Huey) Hochberg passed away on Thursday July 10, 2025, in Concord, NH, surrounded by her family.

Born on July 9, 1962, in Warren, PA, she was the daughter of John and Patricia (Brothers) Huey.

Lisa had very fond memories of growing up in Warren. She graduated from Warren High School in 1980 and maintained several important friendships from school.

Lisa went on to pursue her nursing degree at the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with her Bachelor's in 1984. While at school, Lisa met her future husband, Mark Hochberg while he was pursuing a career as an oral surgeon.

Mark and Lisa welcomed their four children with absolute joy and love in their hearts. Lisa was a very involved mother. She volunteered her time at the elementary and middle schools her children attended, and was also very involved at Bishop Brady High School.

Activities around water were where her personality shined the brightest. Whether it was her swimming and diving competitions as a girl, or going to the beach with her family, she was always happiest in and around the water.

Kinzua Dam in her hometown is where she had some of her fondest memories swimming with friends or boating with family, and she often would make trips back there to visit.

Lisa was gifted at cross stitch, filling the family home with her beautiful, framed works of art. She was passionate about dogs and always had a lab companion by her side. Lisa loved hiking and skiing with her family, planning many family trips around these events.

The holiday season was also an extremely important part of Lisa's life. She prided herself on decorating her home to fit any occasion and was a talented baker, often baking hundreds of Christmas cookies each year to gift to friends and family.

One of the most memorable activities that the Hochberg family did around the holidays was their annual trip to Quebec City for the Winter Carnival-at one point, attending ten years in a row.

Lisa was effortlessly kind and loving, qualities that radiated throughout her career as a nurse. This also made her an amazing friend, partner, and mother. Everyone who knew Lisa loved her.

She will be missed deeply by all those whose life she touched.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Patricia Huey. Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Mark Hochberg, her four children; Sean and his wife Natalie, Bryan, Katy, and Erin, her sister, Lora Gibb and her fiancé Tim Salapek, and her brothers; J. Greg Huey and his wife Marcy, and Matt Huey and his wife Tina.

A memorial gathering will be held for Lisa at Phaneuf Funeral Home, located at 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104 on Tuesday July 15, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 PM with a service to start immediately following.
