Mary Louise Byron

Hadley, MA - Mary L. Byron, of Hadley, Massachusetts passed away on July 15. She was born in Northampton, the daughter of the late Norman Meakim and Louise (Dec) Meakim. Mary graduated from Hopkins Academy and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She was a retired nurse who took care of so many. Mary will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grammy, aunt and friend. She will especially be remembered as a doting grammy who loved spoiling her five grandchildren. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Mary's life. Memorial contributions in Mary's name can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mary was a lovely and caring woman. I would meet her while shopping at J C Penny´s. She was buying outfits for her grand babies when they were little. She had a heart of gold. Always genuinely interested in how you were doing and ask about family. God bless you Mary.

I have had Mary in my life daily for four years. She always made me laugh and smile. I am glad I got to know Mary she was a sweetheart. I miss her dearly.
