Linda Drury Obituary

Linda Drury

Graham, WA - 11/03/1940 – 7/16/2025

In the early morning twilight of July 16, 2025, our beloved mother, Linda Drury, peacefully embarked on her eternal journey, reuniting with her cherished husband, Edwin J. Drury. Though we have spent the past four years preparing for her glorious homecoming, the moment remains profoundly bittersweet.

Linda was born and raised in White River Junction, Vermont, by her devoted parents, Gardner and Cora Hathorn. At the age of nineteen, she married Edwin on January 3, 1960, in the Methodist Church of White River Junction. Their love endured through decades, remaining steadfast until their final days.

As an Air Force wife, Linda embraced a life of adventure, living in Okinawa and across the United States-from the East Coast to the West. After Edwin's retirement, they settled in Washington state, where they built a warm and welcoming home.

Professionally, Linda was a licensed cosmetology instructor, known not only for her skill but for her generosity-neighborhood children fondly remember her for the free haircuts and perms. In retirement, she found joy in crocheting, ceramics, napkin art, and playing cards with friends. She was a talented cook and baker, but above all, Linda's heart belonged to her family.

She will be remembered for her quick wit, her sharp tongue when needed, and her boundless grace to forgive. Her love was fierce, her laughter contagious, and her presence unforgettable.

Linda is survived by her son, Bryan Drury (Shirley); daughter, Traci Drury-Zebruck (Stephen); grandsons, Bryce Drury, Corey Drury, and Zachary Zebruck; and great-grandchildren, Mabel Jo, Mila, and Max. She also leaves behind her brothers, Brian Hathorn (Shelia) and Reginald Hathorn (Lucinda).

May her memory be a blessing. May her legacy bring joy.

Bryan and family, sending my sincere condolences to all of you. I am sure I saw your sister as a young child as I grew up around the neighborhood at my grandmother Henderson´s. Thinking of all of you.
