Sharon Young Obituary

Sharon G. Young

Concord, NH - Sharon L. (Gordon) Young, 86, of Concord, NH, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with dementia.

Born in Trenton, Ontario, Canada on June 8, 1939, Sharon moved to New Hampshire in her twenties and quickly made it her home. She met and married David Young and shared 28 years of marriage. A gifted and passionate figure skater, she performed professionally before dedicating many years to teaching the art of skating to children and adults alike at White Park in Concord beginning in the 1970s. She later brought her sharp mind and kind demeanor to her role as a secretary at Shaheen & Gordon, where she finished her career with dedication and poise.

Above all, Sharon was a loving mother and proud grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Tamara Schiavoni of Epsom, NH, and her beloved grandsons: Joseph Lagasse of Puyallup, WA, Andru Lagasse of Loudon, NH, and Anthony Braley Jr. of Los Angeles, CA. She is predeceased by her former husband, David Young, who passed away in 2018.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 17, 2025, at 1PM inside the Pavillion at Great Meadow Campground, 78 Dover Rd, Chichester NH.
