Maxine Jackson Obituary

Maxine Daniel Jackson was born February 1, 1957 in Shelby County, Tennessee to Morris and Essline Daniel.

She attended Shadowlawn Elementary School and was a graduate of Bartlett High School.

Maxine received her degree in Education from Branell Institute and taught in the Shelby County Schools.

Maxine accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Fullview Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, September 29, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Essline Daniel; three brothers and three sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory a husband, Percy Jackson; one sister, Elnoria Phillips; one brother-in-law; eight sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Viewing Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 10:00 – 10:55 a.m. at Fullview Missionary Baptist Church, 7100 Memphis Arlington Rd., Bartlett, TN 38135. Funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Interment in West Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery, 4000 Forrest Hill-Irene Rd., Memphis, TN. Rev. Morris Patterson, officiating.
