Kathleen Craven Obituary

Kathleen "Kappy" Craven Kathleen, 5 of 7 devoted siblings, was born September 12, 1943 to Marjorie Raney Craven and William Joseph Craven, Sr. in Memphis, TN. Affectionately nicknamed "Kappy" by her father, she was always creative and resourceful. These attributes served Kathleen well as a teacher, dental lab owner and a project manager at FedEx. Kappy met a series of health challenges head on, but lost the struggle on October 15, 2025. She is survived by James Timothy Craven of Memphis, TN, Margie Craven Adams (Ed) of Forrest City, AR, Jane Craven Crain (Larry) of Atlanta, GA, and Elaine R. Craven of Memphis, TN, along with many nieces and nephews. We all appreciated her dedication to "keeping the family together." Memorial Services at a later date. Serenity Funeral Home, Tel. (901)379-0861.

My Dear Godmother who I always teased about being my fairy Godmother. We had some adventures together. She was always young at heart. I already miss her but she and Mom will be rooting for the Memphis Tigers Basketball together again.
