Ray Hiltpold Obituary
Easthampton, MA - Ray Hiltpold Jr, age 73, passed away on December 8, 2025, with his brother Ron and Ray's great friends JoAnne and Liz at his side. He was born in Northampton MA, on April 17, 1952, the son of Ray and Ruth (Henneman) Hiltpold Sr.
Ray attended public schools in Easthampton Ma and graduated from EHS Class of1970. After High School he became an Optician working for Weir Opticians. Ray then received his Real Estate license and worked for several different Real Estate Agencies.
He loved his work dealing with different people throughout his career. He loved the beach and loved to get a dark tan. The Cape is where he felt he got the best dark tan.
He also enjoyed the family get-togethers
Ray is survived by his brother Ronald and wife Barbara, a sister Susan Sienkowicz and husband Steven. His long-time partner Patricia Toulouse. He is also survived by his uncle Paul Henneman, his two aunts Grace Snow and Beverley Henneman, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Gail Beck.
The family will be holding a Memorial Graveside service in the Spring.

Sending my deepest sympathy to the family of Ray. I have very fond memories of time I spent at the home of the Hiltpolds' when I was visiting his sister, Susan. I can picture walking in the house and seeing Ray sitting at his drum set.

Am so so sorry to hear of Ray's passing. Saw him in Big E's after many years and he asked if I had a house to sell, lol,,I did...we reconnected our friendship. I hadn't seen him recently, Missed his funny funny words..

I'm very sad to learn of ray's passing. we worked together for years and he taught me a lot. we also spent a lot of time together when we wern't working.In the early 80's I moved to cape cod and I would stop in at the real estate office to say hi and get lunch on my trips back to Northampton. my sincere thoughts go out to Ron, Susan and Tricia (you might remember me ordering lenses and stuff!) Ray was a close friend and I will sure miss him but I have some wonderful memories from our younger days. may you rest in peace ray, you were a good friend.

Sorry to see this news. Ray was a childhood friend of mine since 6th grade. We both graduated from EHS together. Lost touch with Ray when our lives went in different directions, but always remembered his friendly conversation. Rest in peace, my friend.
