I grew up down the road from my Aunt Helen & Uncle Phil. All good memories going there for Holiday dinners up the street in their nice Home. It was such a Welcome place as soon my aunt or uncle opened the door.

Helen was our dear and reliable neighbor when I was a kid in New Ipswich and always kind to me and cheerful. I loved going to visit her house. She was the first person I knew who had a dishwasher and with delight showed me how clean the drinking glasses came out. I felt privileged that she confided such a thing to me. Helen was an elegant lady in her day and an incredibly generous volunteer working the Children´s Fair and many other projects too numerous to name. Yet she always had time to speak with close attention and encouragement to younger people, even when we were being silly. She raised four highly intelligent and talented children yet somehow found time for everyone else´s kiddos too. Salt of the earth and angel in heaven.
