Lois Krok Obituary
Amherst, MA - Lois E. (Laskoski) Krok, 78, of Amherst, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 27, 1947, in Northampton, to the late Walter and Alice (Usadvenus) Laskoski.
She graduated from Frontier Regional High School and held several jobs over her lifetime. Most recently, she worked as an office manager for Coca Cola Company before retiring. Lois loved spending her free time reading, watching movies on TV, searching for things online, and above all, sharing her wonderful sense of humor, which brought joy to everyone around her-even until her final moments.
She is survived by her daughter, Tara Krok of Greenfield, grandchildren, Rhiannon and Riley "Grey" Krok both of Greenfield, her sisters, Arlene Lawson of Northampton, Jane Konvelski of S. Deerfield, Ruth Smith of Sunderland, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sisters, Diane Kirby, Mary Shaffer, and Gloria Connelly.
There will be a calling hour on Sunday March 8, 2026, from 11AM – 12 PM at DROZDAL FUNERAL HOME, 120 DAMON RD., NORTHAMPTON. Service will begin in Funeral Home at 12 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to American Lung Association in MA, 111 Speen St., 2nd Floor, Framingham, MA 01701.

I am so sorry for your loss. Lois was the best work buddy. She made everyday fun. We had many laughs. She will be missed. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Tara, Riley and Rhiannon,
I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother/Grandmother. She was a long time resident here at Rolling Green and I was very personally fond of her. She often help out at events setting up and doing dishes. She was also a very accomplish cook. My husband loved her Sheppard's Pie. I remember both Riley and Rhiannon swimming in the pool here and how much they enjoyed visiting Grandma.
She will be greatly missed from our community. She was a ball of energy and fun!
