Sweet P to this day I can't tell you all how much she changed my life, the first time she saw me she said I was too serious and I said I had nothing to smile about she hugged me and said now you do, the night before she died she saw me leaving my office and said the same thing and my reply was the same and she gave me another hug,I miss Pam even now she was a great person who loved her family very much, and was very loved and respected by those of us who were fortunate enough to know her, God bless her and her family.

Even though several years have passed I would like to offer my sorrow for the loss of Pamela. I am proud of woman who serve in the military and those soldiers who were born on foreign soil and are willing to fight for this country. Warm thoughts are sent out to her family.

" To the family and friends of Sgt Pam Osbourne: Remembering her on the anniversary of her passing. I was abundantly blessed to be stationed in Iraq with her. What a wonderful spirit that dwelled on the inside of her that touched everyone within her presence. As the Senior Minister of the Gospel service in Iraq where she faithfully attended, I can say she brought much joy to our congregation just with her presence and the love she had for her God and her people. On my first sermon that I preached in Iraq, she brought the opening prayer and the spirit of the Lord fell on that place. She will forever live in all of our hearts who knew her and will forever remember her wonderful smile. May God Bless!! Pastor Jeffery Mathews

I was stationed with SGT Osbourne in Iraq. I have been thinking lately about her and still, to this day, have the pair of sunglasses she gave me while over there. She was truly a selfless person and my deepest condolences go out to her family. She will forever be in my memories.

Never Forget.
One of the many thankful, I too served with SGT Osbourne. Pam was not only a great soldier, but a great person - bringing so much joy, faith, and love to so many people. We have so many fond memories. Thank you.
Today, Aug 24 2008, my daughter and I ran with the 'Run for the Fallen' in Huntsville, AL in honor of Pam. Although it was raining, there were so many runners, so many that will not forget the sacrife that is given everyday by our soldiers, sailors, Airmen, Marines, and their families. God keep us all.

Wow! This is amazing! I was looking at some geocaches to do on a small vacation trip to White Sulpher Springs Montana where my parents live and I saw this coin in one of the caches! I hope we can get there to retrieve it for the simple fact of having a coin in remembrance of someone in the military who served our country with PRIDE!!! If we get it, we will pass it on and let it travel! Thank you girl! You are jumpin' in heaven and we are rooting for our troops here on earth!

I attended AIT with Pamela at Fort Lee, VA in 2001. She is absolutely the most graceful and beautiful person I have ever met. We hit it off immediately because she is a very gentle and softspoken soul. I remember taking pictures with her, saving seats for one another at the chow hall, and listening to her stories about her family. After we graduated from AIT, I ran into her once on post and we were so excited to see one another. As our careers were so busy, days turned into weeks, months, and then years. I lost touch with her. Today, I met a wonderful woman at the hospital who told me a touching story about a female SGT she had met. When she said her name, my heart stopped. There was no way she could be talking about Pamela?! But she was and I was deeply saddened. I do not believe anything happens by coincidence; there was a reason I went to that doctors office. I feel that Pamela was letting me know that she was okay and still very much with us today. I speak in present tense of her because there is no way her spirit could ever leave this Earth. She's still here and I will always hold those memories and smile at the pictures we took together. I hope to be as strong and dedicated as she is. Thank you so much, Pamela for your strength and presence and I know you will continue to smile down upon your family and loved ones. We love you and will one day meet again, battle buddy.

Sgt. Pamela G. Osbourne was an amazing woman. She was a very sweet person and a role model to those whom have known her. I may not have the opportunity to personally know Mrs. Osbourne, but from what I have been told, her personality, charisma, and elegance seems to appeal to everyone. Speaking on behave of her son “Tony,” who misses her greatly, Mrs. Osbourne may not be her, but she will never be forgotten.

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.

Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.

I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend (KIA on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I went to Advanced Individual Training with Pamela at Ft. Lee VA. We were in the same platoon and had arrived earlier than most of the other soldiers who were in our class. We shared many duties like KP and gardening. I have many times since shared those pictures with my family. Pamela was sort of a Mother figure to many of the younger soldiers. She was a blessing and a wonderful person. I am so thankful that I could share that part of my life with her.

I served with SGT Pamela Osbourne at Fort Hood, Tx as well as Baghdad, IZ. There are so many words to say that would honor her but none would do justice to the uniqueness and contagiousness of her smile and personality. SGT Pamela Osbourne was truely an inspiration to everyone and I still ache everyday I think about her sacrifice. Thank you from myself and my wife to the Osbourne family for your strength, drive, and sacrifice for our freedom. SGT Osbourne, whose pictures still spread her smile and cheer, Thank you for being a great soldier, wonderful teammate, and outstanding friend. She will forever be in my heart and I will always be in her debt.

I WAS GIVEN THIS NAME AS A FINAL EXAM PAPER FROM A LIST OF MANY OTHERS, AND MUCH TO MY SURPRISE MRS. OSBOURNE AND I AM FORM THE SAME COUNTRY, JAMAICA. SHE CAME A LONG WAYS FROM JAMAICA TO SERVE IN THE MILITARY. SHE MUST HAVE LOVED AND HONOR THIS COUNTRY ENOUGH TO GIVE HER LIFE FOR IT AND I APPRECIATE HER SACRIFICE. I BECAME A US CITIZEN LAST WEEK AND I LIKE MRS OSBOURNE, I WOULD BE HONOURED TO SERVE THIS COUNTRY BECAUSE MUCH OF WHAT I AM TODAY IS AS A RESULT OF LIVING IN THIS COUNTRY. I HOPE I WILL BE ABLE TO DO MRS OSBOURNE JUSTICE WITH MY TERM PAPER.

I had the honor of meeting Pam while serving in Iraq. You see we were in the same camp. There wasn't a day that went by that we didn't communicate is some way. 10 October 2004 I'll always remember. Reason being this was the lastday I spent with my dear friend: we ate lunch, went to church and to finish the day we had a wonderful dinner together. Well I think I'll stop right here I can write allday about Pam, but in closing I would like to say I love and will always miss you Pam aka "Sweet-P"..

I was looking at the newest edition of Essence magazine on Thurs 4/14/05 only to see my lovely sister-in-law's smiling face. I was at first excited at seeing Pam's picture I then saw that she had passed on Oct 11, 2004.

I have been mourning her loss since and would like to get in touch with Rohan and Ms. Pearl.

Pam was a wonderfully, bright, and cheery person whom I loved. (Because of moving I have lost touch with the family.)

The last time I spoke with Pam we spoke about the Lord so I know for Pam she had a relationship with Him. To be absent from the body means, Pam is present with the Lord.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to Rohan, Rohan Jr, La Toya, Tony, Pam's mother, Ms Pearl and the rest of the family.

God Bless.

Love
