I know this is years past. I just want to say thank you to the parents of one of Americas Heroes. Y'all obviously gave him great ethics and love for humanity. My son served as a Marine 2 tours in Iraq I'm so very grateful he came home.
I proudly still wear a patch bearing Timothys name every Red Shirt Fri. My heart will always feel a part of your pain

Hello,
We apologize for being so late in expressing our deepest condolences to you and your family. We want you to know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this holiday season and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo, service branch, rank and hometown of Timothy J. Seamans US Army Private 1st Class.
We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families, friends and others who support our mission.
We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

It's been ten years and far overdue my name Chris Palmer I was your son's mechanic and one of the last people to spend any time with him on that day if i would have known i had the power to stop the mission as stupid as that is i haven't been able too shake it that I could have saved him that day if i only knew what was to befall him that day

Ten years have passed since we received the news that you were killed in action. We held a candlelight ceremony at 6 PM on August 18, 2015 for your; over 20 were in attendance. Everyone who wanted to share a memory of you were able to do so. For your mother, sister and I it was very emotional. You will always be in our heart, and one day we will be together again. We love and miss you very much. Love, Dad, Mom, Ashley, Duston, and Bella.

To my fellow Brother In Arms, I love you and miss you. I can't believe that you are not here anymore in the present. I feels like yesterday when we were laughing and joking around at Winn-Dixie (Town & Country) working there as baggers/cashiers, not to mention, just graduating from Terry Parker. I've also lost another sailor along the way in my own journey through this military lifestyle. I just want to say the Families thank you for your utmost importance of support and love and dicspline which permeated through my selfless brothers. I love you all! Mr. Seamans, it was a blessing to see you many years ago in Family Dollar to shake your hands and to say "Thank You!" May God's Shalom be upon you all! (1st Thessalonians 5:18)

In the Army, we train. We prepare. We hone our skills and put our full faith and trust into our fellow Soldiers. It is the only way we survive. By remembering and honoring those Soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom we ensure they live on forever. I did not know PFC Seamans, but we come from the same hometown. I was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, enlisted as a Private in May 2005, and was in AIT when PFC Seamans lost his life. Now, 6 years later I am an NCO in the United States Army and have made it a point to ensure my Soldiers remember those who have served before them. I instructed my troops to pick a Soldier from the Warrior's Walk here at Ft Stewart and to learn as much about them as possible to honor the Soldier and their families. Later today at 1400, our small squad of Soldiers will walk the Warrior's Walk and render honors in dedication and reverence to those Fallen Soldiers. I picked your Son because while I was learning how to be a Soldier, he was fighting. He was ensuring that I had an opportunity to choose to be a Soldier, enlist, and eventually deploy for 15 months to Iraq. I offer my condolences for your loss, and I salute Private First Class Timothy Seamans for making it possible for every American to live in a free country.

To the Seamans family, God Bless you! My family found Timothy's Fallen Heroes GeoCoin while caching. We never expected the impact of opening that cache and finding Timothy's story. He has been with us since January and I can tell you that he will not be forgotten. He has traveled with us throughout Florida(St Petersburg, Tampa, Viera, Lake Worth), and just recently to Phoenix AZ, Sedona AZ, Monument Valley UT, and Grand Canyon AZ. Thanks to a cacher just outside Grand Canyon Nation Park, he will continue his journey..hopefully throughout the world. I hope his story will touch others as it has our family. There are just no words - but thank you and God Bless you!

November 21, 2008
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers.
The Wind on The Downs
“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you laughing as you used to do,
Yet loving all the things I think of you;
And knowing you are happy, should I grieve?
You follow and are watchful where I go.”
(Written by Marian Allen during World War l )
Two lines that I wish you to keep near your heart…….
“You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe”
I did not know Timothy, but I am remembering
his service. He is my hero. !

The Other Side
i'm over on the other side
where life and death softly divide.
left my skin and bones behind
now i'm over on the other side.
can you feel me there with you?
my breath is gone but i'm not through.
loved you then and i still do
from over on the other side.
i can fly. really fly.
below the earth ... all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.
it's good here on the other side.
the sweetest songs...the bluest skies.
thank you for the tears you cried
but it's good here on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth...all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side
the world is smaller than a needle's eye.
where life and death softly divide.
when you leave your skin and bones behind
i'll be waiting on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth ... all through the sky.
go tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

Dear Seamans Family,
The loss of Tim was such a suprise when I got the call from Dave. I thought, this can't be real! He had come to visit me just 2 months before his death at the recruiting station. He was on his R and R leave and home for Ashley's graduation. I couldn't have been more proud of him! He had truly become a man! I, not only his recruiter but friend as well, was heartbroken to learn of his death. Helping the family through such a time was extremely difficult to keep composure and not just break down, but truly an honor! I felt like an older brother to Tim as I was there through just about every aspect of his life just before he left. Dave (Tim's father) thanked me for being there for his family in the time of need, but I thank Dave for being so strong because without knowing, he was keeping me up through that time of termoul! Never have I met a family as strong and loving as them. To have such a thing as your child taken from you at such a young age is devastating. I thank the Seamans family for thier sacrifice, an ultimate one at that! His memory will forever live in so many of the lives he touched on this earth in such a short life span. I love you Tim and you will never be forgotten! Rest in Peace brother, Rest in Peace!

Dear Seamans Family,
Please accept my apologies for failing to sign Timothy's guest book sooner. I do not know how I managed to overlook something so very important. I am truly sorry.
Please also accept my sincere thanks for sharing your beloved young man with us all. I have not forgotten, and I will never forget, that Timothy gave his life for the cause of freedom. His death is part of the price of the blessings which my own family enjoys. Additionally, Timothy graduated from high school the same year that my own son did, which brings home to me the understanding of his youth alongside his manhood. I respect his gift to me and my family.
I surrender my deepest gratitude to Timothy for his selfless acts in the U.S. Army, from his daily toils to his final sacrifice. I am proud of him. He is one of our own. We can all be proud of him.
May God bless you as you continue this earthly journey.

To the Family of Pfc. Timothy J. Seamans:
My heart breaks that I am signing yet another guest book for another Hero. I read your post on another's guest book and read where your son was killed while in his vehicle, by a roadside bomb. That is how our son died and I wanted to look up this young man's information and felt I needed to sign his book as well. I know first hand there are no words right that will bring you the comfort and peace you need. What we need is to have our sons back. Just know that you are not alone. My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you all as you mourn this loss. We don't know each other, will probably never meet, but will forever be united in the loss of our Heroes. We have, unfortunately joined a group, an ever-growing group of families in this situation. May God grant you peace and strength to get through this and be able once again to smile at a memory rather than have only the tears that flow so easily now. If you ever want to talk, I'm only an e:mail away. God Bless this courageous soldier and his family.

I have signed this guest book before, but didnt know what to say, i knew Tim, i can't say as well as others did.He was always so fun to be around. my best friend amanda was dating Tim for awhile, and she always talked about him like he was an angel and could do no wrong.when we all hung out together he was always the one who came up with new and fun things to occupy our time when everyone was bored. I recently moved away from jacksonville, to follow a better path than i was on, and decided i was going to join the navy. Tonight i was watching the news and today was the mark of the 2,000 fallen soldiers and i cried.
It hurts to know that so many people are dying, but because i know they are doing it as heros and for love of thier country it doesnt make me afraid of following the path of military.I was proud of Tim when i heard he was going into the army and i know you were afraid too, but more than that you were proud. you dont have to worry anymore, he is safe now. god bless your family and may he always be with you. tim will always be in my heart. through boot camp mostly beacause im gonna wonder how he did it. but he was strong.anyways. best wishes for the future.and remember he is always with you, in your heart.

Dearest Seaman Family,
I write to you tonight to let you know that at 10:15 p.m. on September 22, 2005, you are in my thoughts. Thus, you are in my prayers, as I know that after a while, every one gets back to normal every day routines..... except you. I know the pain intensifies and you have more time to know your huge loss of Tim's presence and voice. He is a true hero to me. I have been privileged to know some of the soldiers who have gone to Irag. I think they are the finest of people, so brave, and so sure of their mission. The love for freedom and our country is so evident. Seeing them and listening to them about their mission, made me so proud of the young men and women of today, when before, at times, I wondered if this generation had what it takes. It does. Tim is definitely a hero. So, too, are all of you. My sister, Margie, has told me what outstanding people you are. I could tell that from the loving and honorable way you have stood tall for Tim with the media. There are no adequate words to thank you for Tim nor adeqaute words to tell you how very sorry I am you can not hug him or talk to him.... for now. Our hope is in God's promise for the day, when all who have had forgiveness of their sins through the payment of Jesus, will be united again, in a place where there is no more sorrow or tears. I cry with you, even now.
May you find the strength and refuge you need by leaning into Our Father God,
Sincerely,
roberta

To the Seamans Family,
It saddens me to be one of the last to hear of Tim's death. Me and him went to high school together, we even had the same recruiter. It pains the soul to know that a friend, a classmate, and a fellow soldier has passed on. I remember when he found out that I am a Combat Medic, he said that was cool cause he knows that i got his back. I am going to miss him greatly, but i am going to honor him more. He protected the freedom of the people in this country and gave all he had for it. He is a hero.
With great respect

Hi,
I didn't know your son persnonally but my son, Andrew Kimbrough was a classmate and fellow graduate at Terry Parker High as well as in the NJROTC. I and my son, Andrew, like to send our condolences to your family and to say Thank You for making a huge sacrifce. Without him and the whole military service, we wouldn't be able to enjoy the freedom we have taken for granted for all these years. Be proud to know you have raised a wonderful son who was willing to help his fellow man and his country to maintain the peace and the safety we all come to know for all these years. His death will never be in vain. God will take care of him and I promise he will always watches over you and your family from that day forward.

Tim was one of our very close friends & we loved him dearly... he will always be remembered by his big smile, but even bigger heart. Your family will forever be in our prayers. Here's a poem I wrote for Tim, we hope it touches your soul & gives you some peace.
A true hero,
a soldier of war.
He did for our country,
wanting to do more.
Broken hearts,
tear filled eyes.
Another soul,
to fill the sky.
Many memories,
in our minds.
Some we laugh,
some we cry.
Missing that laugh,
we will never again hear.
That's the reality,
that fills us with fear.
But he gazes up,
at the Lords sweet, smiling face.
And probably for the first time,
really felt his grace.
He knows that we miss him,
but he wants us to dry our eyes.
He will always be watching & loving us..
From his home in the sky.
A cool breeze on our faces,
A touch of light rain.
He will send us reminders,
that we will be reunited again.
Life on earth,
is but one brief moment in time.
But he's finally home, & with God,
he'll be more than just fine.
We love you, Our hero Timothy Seamans!

David, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through this time. It's been a long time since we worked together @ Fowler's and Timmy was so young then...hard to believe how fast time passes. There are no words to express the thanks we all have for Timmy fighting for our freedom, the cost is immeasurable and your loss... I can't even imagine. Janet

David, Monty and Ashley,
I was in such a state of shock watching the funeral broadcast and realizing I know this child and this family now grieving a tremendous loss. I could not believe "little" Timmy is old enough to serve his country and now he has given his life for the same. God Bless you Tim. How did I know your dad's influence would put you into the military? Thank you and all the other soldiers for protecting us. Although I have not had contact with your family since my days at Fowler's, I truly do remember that little boy running around the office and his dad fussing at him...such memories. I am proud to have known you.
David, Janet also sends her regards. She was as much in shock as I was. God Bless you and your family. Our heartfelt prayers are with you and yours.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. My son served in the NJROTC unit with Tim and was devastated to learn of his passing. Our family is very proud of your son as he knowingly put himself in harms way to serve his country. My heart aches for you but also rejoices with you knowing that Tim is in the arms of a loving God where there is no more strife, no more anger, no more bullets.
God Bless -

To the Seamans Family.
Just wanted to say your son was a true hereo i did not know him but i want to thank him for his bravery and sacrifice to make us all free.
No one's ever truly gone,
For they are always with you.
Watching and helping with,
Everything you do.
All those times you whisper,
"I love you" to the air,
Know that they are listening,
And know that they are there.
They fly only beyond your sight,
In a kingdom free of pain,
And when you have to leave this world,
You shall see them once again.
Once again GOD BLESS you all.
