Dear Ivan Jr. & Buco
I have many memories of your father, dating back to when I was a young boy when he came to visit the "Slivno community" in New York City. We crossed paths many times since, in both the US and Croatia. Ivan Sr. was representative of a storied Croatian immigrant generation: passionate, hard working, and generous.
Please accept the condolences of the entire Radalj family: Bozo & Lovorka Radalj, Mate & Ankica Radalj, Ante & Nicole Radalj and baby Olivia, and Tomislav Radalj.
May Ivan Sr. rest in perfect peace.

Dear Nogalo family,
It is with great sadness that I have heard of the passing of Ivan. He was a true Croatian patriot and fought for the rights of Croatians throughout his life. I had the privilege of working with him when he was president of HDZ-USA. His cheerful demeanor and steadfast support meant a lot to me and my family. I am sorry that I cannot be there to pay my last respects. Neka mu Hrvatska zemlja bude laka! Za dom spremni!

Our deepest condolences to your family. My mother and father (Doris and Zeljko Tokic) have such wonderful memories of your father and the generous kind person he was. We have pictures of your father visiting my grandparents in Croatia which meant the world to my family and we thank him for that. My father told one of his friends about your Father’s passing and described the feeling he had when doing so, he said it felt like all of his inside’s were shaking. He touched so many lives so deeply. He will be missed and always in our thoughts and prayers.
