Marie Louise Scroggins

Marie Louise Eisenberger Scroggins, 80, of Shawnee, Kans., born April 20, 1925, went to be with Jesus February 20, 2006, from the loving arms of her family. Family and Grace Lutheran Church were the center of her activities, along with Metropolitan Lutheran Ministries, Edsel Club, Save-A-Connie, and TWA Seniors, all which at various times awarded her achievements and were richly blessed by her participation. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Grace Lutheran Church, 3333 Wood Ave., Kansas City, Kans. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kans. Survivors include her husband of 59 1/2 years Stan Scroggins, son Larry Scroggins and his wife Heidi, granddaughter Rachel Almstedt and husband Jon and great-grandchildren Janessa and Juluia Almstedt, grandson Yancy Scroggins, daughter Sandra Brant and her husband Roger, grandchildren Bill Blomquist and Jennifer Blomquist, stepgrandchildren Tessa and Travis Brant, daughter Debra Goedel, sister Emma Bondank, nieces and nephews, and countless others who called her "Mamma" and "Grandma."
