Agnes L. Moff
Agnes L. Moff, 98, of Market Street, Weston, passed away Oct. 17 in Hazleton General Hospital following a short illness. Born September 9, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Mamie (Mummey) Hasker and spent most of her life in Weston. She was the oldest living resident of Weston prior to her passing. She was a retired floor lady in local garment factories and was last employed by Sheppton Shirt Factory. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Weston. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, the auxiliary of Nuremberg American Legion and Shenandoah Fish and Game Club, Zion Grove. She enjoyed baking and gardening. Survivors: Children, Marion Van Horn of Levittown, Ethel Pecora and her husband Joseph of Bethlehem, Lauretta Chenkus of Blackwood, N.J., Gloria Schrader and her husband Frank of Weston, Joseph Moff and his wife Janet of Scotch Valley, Gerald Moff and his wife Joan of Summerset, N.J.; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Moff in 1970, brothers Ray Hasker and Charles Mummey, half brother Clair Lavas, and grandchildren, Donna Van Horn and Albert Chenkus. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Mark S. Harman Funeral Homes Inc. (West), Conyngham-Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Weston. Call 7-9 p.m. today in the funeral home, with a Christian wake service at 8 p.m. today. Burial, parish cemetery.

My grandmother, Aggie, had a very long life (98 yrs.), and she was actively involved in all of her familys' lives until the very end. She danced at her grandchildrens' weddings and even some of her great-grandchildrens'. I love you Mom-Mom. I will miss you but I will never forget you.

I have many wonderful memories of my grandmother through my childhood, my adolescence and adulthood. Thouogh I will miss her greatly, she will be kept alive in my memories. I love you Mom Mom.
