Antoinette Menfi

HOPEDALE Antoinette (Polizzi) Menfi, 89, of Hopedale, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at Draper Place of Hopedale. She was the wife of Benjamin Menfi, who died in 1989. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Angelo) Polizzi, and had lived in Hopedale for many years. Mrs. Menfi is survived by one son, Joseph and his wife, Marie Menfi, of Hopedale; one daughter, Anita Menfi of New York City; seven grandchildren, Audra Menfi of Uxbridge, Benjamin Menfi and his wife, Suzi, of Austin, Texas, Joseph B. Menfi of Campton, N.H., John Menfi of Atlanta, Stephen Menfi of Austin, Texas; Laurel Prats and her husband, Edgar, of Austin, Texas, and Jenna Menfi of Long Island, N.Y.; two great-grandchildren, twins, John and Ava Menfi of Austin, Texas. She was predeceased by her son, John Menfi, and three brothers, Gasper Polizzi, Salvatore Polizzi, and John Polizzi. Mrs. Menfis funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 16, at 9 a.m., from the James E. Kellett and Son Funeral Home (www.kellettandson.com), 21 West St., Milford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m., in Sacred Heart Church, Hopedale Street, Hopedale. Burial will follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery.
