Robert McDonald Obituary

Robert McDonald Jr. MILFORD Robert McDonald Jr., 47, of Milford, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, in Milford Regional Medical Center, after an illness. He was born in Natick, son of Carol (Stanhope) Manwaring of Ringe, N.H., and his father, the Rev. Robert and his wife Carol McDonald of Lake Villa, Ill. He was employed for 17 years by Charlies Pizza of Milford as a delivery man. Bobby fought a courageous battle against cancer. He had a great love for Harleys and the love of his life, his best friend, 7-year-old Angelique. Besides his parents, Mr. McDonald is survived by his maternal grandfather, Martin Stanhope of Port St. Lucy, Fla.; two brothers, Stephen McDonald of Ringe, N.H., and Scott McDonald and his wife, Mary, of Indianola, Iowa; one sister, Lori and her husband, Jamie Deschenes, of Southbridge; two half sisters, Kaitlyn McDonald and Lindsey McDonald, both of Lake Villa, Ill.; two stepbrothers, Maurice Guertin of Scotland and Darryl Guertin of Texas; two nephews, Scott McDonald and Noah McDonald; one niece, Lourdes Deschenes; and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m., in James E. Kellett and Son Funeral Home, 21 West St., Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 20 Prospect St., Milford, MA 01757. www.kellettandson.com
