Grace Thibeault Obituary

MILFORD Mrs. Grace M. (Watson) Thibeault, 69, of Milford, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Thibeault, who died in 2006. Mrs. Thibeault was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Walter E. and Agnes L. (Slavin) Watson. She attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1956. Mrs. Thibeault was first employed as a young woman at the former Stylon Corporation in Milford. After raising her four children, she was employed at the SMG Corporation in Hopkinton, and then at Brine Corporation in Milford. Lastly, she was employed at Waters Associates in Milford, taking early retirement in 1995 to help raise her grandchild. Mrs. Thibeault was a lifelong resident of Milford and a longtime communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. She had volunteered as a Cub Scout den mother and was an avid bingo player and family card game player. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Thibeault is survived by two sons, Michael A. Thibeault and his wife, Michelle, of Milford, and Mark J. Thibeault and his wife, Sylvia, of Blackstone; two daughters, Brenda J., wife of Dwight Fishlock of Hopedale, and Bonnie L., wife of David LeMote of Milford; six grandchildren, Jocelyn Thibeault, Allison Thibeault, Raymond Thibeault, Garrett Fishlock, Devin LeMote and Ryan Thibeault; one brother, John F. Watson of Milford; also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Walter E. Watson Jr. of South Yarmouth, who died in 2006. Her funeral will take place Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 9 a.m., from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., Milford (www.edwardsmemorial funeralhome.com), followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m., at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter St., Milford. Burial will follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery in Milford. Visiting hours are Tuesday, Oct. 28, 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Cancer Care Fund, c/o Milford Regional Medical Center, 14 Prospect St., Milford, MA 01757.
