Tina Smith

Tina Smith LINCOLN, R.I. Tina (Zodda) Smith, 70, of Lincoln, R.I., formerly of Milford. Born Nov. 8, 1938, in Rome and raised in Patti, Italy, Tina was a survivor of the battle of Messina, World War II. Tina immigrated to the United States in 1955, initially working as a flight attendant and then settling in Chicago, working as a computer keypunch operator. She was married Nov. 21, 1961, to Terrill Smith of Chicago. They lived in the Chicago area until 1982, when they moved to New England. Tina is survived by her husband; and four children, Corey Smith of Bristow, Va., Lynn Smith of Lincoln, R.I., Kevin Smith of Cumberland, R.I., and Christina Reidy of Sturbridge. She is also survived by her three brothers, Guy Zodda of New Jersey, Antonio Zodda of Milan, Italy, and John Zodda of Patti, Italy; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her oldest grandchild is currently in the Army serving in Afghanistan. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Thursday, Nov. 20, at 10 a.m., at St. Jude Church, 301 Front St., Lincoln, R.I. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, R.I.
