Victor E. Bergstrom

MEDWAY Victor E. Bergstrom, 91, of Medway died Nov. 16, 2008, in Medway Country Manor. Born in Waltham, March 22, 1917, the son of the late Edward and Ivaloe (Daniels) Bergstrom, Mr. Bergstrom lived in Medway for more than 40 years. Mr. Bergstrom had been a machinist for the NECO Company for many years, before retiring. He previously worked at the Quincy Naval Shipyard. Mr. Bergstrom was a volunteer at the Medway Food Pantry for almost 30 years. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, yard sales and was a talented artist. He was the brother of the late Hellena Leigh, Woodrow Bergstrom and Kathleen Clark. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, Nov. 23, in the Community Center at Mahan Circle, Medway, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Donations in his memory may be made to the Medway Food Pantry, 600 Mahan Circle, Medway MA 02053. Arrangements are under the care of the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, Medway.
