I'll always miss Cindy. She was someone who lived her life: baking and cooking to perfection a variety of treats, starting projects, taking her kids out to see what fun and mischief could be found. Apple picking. Gardening. Swimming. It was fun to be around her.

Being around Cindy was always lively and often, fun. She was the kind of next-door neighbor you always hope to get, full of ideas and enthusiasm, crafty and game for whatever idea was on the table. Miss her and love seeing her best qualities reflected in the kids.

Great neighbors, gin & tonics after a long day at work, kids growing up together, swimming, boating, 4th of July celebrations, good loud music, stupendous good food, joy and pain, courage, smiles, resignation, and finally, more courage
It's been a treasure; we've all learned from Cindy's way of doing. We're among the many who will miss her.

Our dearest friends & neighbors,
We will miss Cindy. She was an amazing woman that taught us all something. When the flowers start to bloom again and summer has arrived we will think of her. She always had a smile on her face even on the worst days, a gentle touch and kind word. we will never take the friendship we had with Cindy for granted. May her wisdom and courage and gentle spirit never be forgotten. XOXO

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To A Beautiful Person, "Cindy"
If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.
If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.
He sent you flowers every spring.
He sent you a sunrise every morning.
Whenever you wanted to talk, He Listened.
He can live anywhere in the universe, but He Chose...YOUR HEART.
face it friend, He is crazy about you!
God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way".
May God bless you and be with your family and friends. I will forever miss you and will never forget you, I will look out on the lake and know you are near.

To our dear next door neighbors-
We are so sorry for your tragic loss. Cindy was one of the most loving, kind and caring women we have ever met. She was a friend to all, children & adults alike...she always had a warm smile and welcomed everyone into her heart and home. We will miss her...and remember that we are there to help with anything you need.

I remember a few short weeks ago walking my dog past the Braun house and happened upon Cindy outside. We spoke for a few minutes and I was struck by Cindys couragous positive attitute. She said "It is very painful. There are good days and bad days and today is a good day. I am grabbing it." Those words stay with me. My husband and I remember the Braun children growing up and what a fantastic, involved, and tireless mother Cindy was. She always wanted a big family and seemed to enjoy every minute of it. I wish I could tell her how much I admired her. Teary eyed, my prayers are with you all. Martha Moretti Milford, MA

Gregg, Mo, Laura, Kirsten, Emily, Jenn and Eric - our hearts are with your in sorrow. Our brave friend, with always a smile, and the will to make a difference. Her cooking was far more than a hobby: it was a gift she shared with many, and we anticipated each offering she sent our way. Her mothering - calm, wise, accepting, supportive of her babies as they grew - shows in each of them. We will miss the laughter, the stories, the lakeside parties over the years. Bless you, Cindy; we'll all remember you well for your enormous courage and your joie de vivre. You gave us all a lesson in living fully and facing death bravely.

The Braun Family,
I am blessed to have known each of you through the years. Cindy was such a wonderful woman. She was a true giver and really made raising children and entertaining family and friends look simple. She was always there if you wanted to talk.
Even at the very end she wanted her guests who visited her to feel at home with snacks and drinks and she still had that radiant smile and a positive attitude when she was in pain. She always thought of others first.
I am so sorry to all of you for your loss and praying for each of you. I wish you all the best.
Love ya!
