Luciano Villani Obituary

MILFORD The funeral of Mr. Luciano Villani took place Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford. Celebrant was the Rev. Richard Scioli C.S.S., pastor. The acolytes were Frank Freni and Aldo Cecchi. The organist was Mary Ann SanClemente and the soloist was Georgianna Zorzi. The funeral pall was placed upon his casket by his children, Louisa Giokas and David Villani. The lector was Sandi Chiancola. The gift bearers were his grandchildren, Elias Giokas, Julianna Giokas and Justine Villani. "Words of Remembrance" were offered by his nephew, Dino DeBartolomeis. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery with commital prayers offered by Rev. Scioli. The casket bearers were John DeBartolomeis, Angelo DiDomenico, Chet DiLorenzo, Biagio DeSantis, Joseph DeSantis and "Peppe" Pandozzi. A motorcycle police escort was provided the funeral cortege to and from Sacred Heart of Jesus Church by members of the Milford Police Department, as well as police presence through all the major intersections. Mr. Villani, 77, of Milford, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness.

Louisa and Charlie. I am So sorry for your loss, I could not believe it when my brother told me Uncle Louie died. My mom tried to call you yesterday but no answer. I cried for along time yesterday. Remembering days long ago when we would all come over for cookouts and birthday parties my dad and Uncle Louie would be playing music and singing then they would try to get Johnny to play. When we came over on the Holidays, it was so warm.I am glad we did those things together.I will always cherish those memories. Uncle Louie was a kind and gentle man, I will miss him, and now he is with my dad and their mom and dad.One day we will all meet again in Heaven. Your Cousin Antonetta .
