AGNES ANN JOHNSON
AGE: 68 PLAINFIELD
Agnes Ann Johnson, 68, died Thursday, June 25, 2009 in JFK Hartwyck at Cedar Brook in Plainfield. Born in Plainfield, she was raised in Manville before returning to Plainfield. She was formerly employed as a code enforcer for the City of Plainfield for many years. She was a member of Terrill Bible Chapel in Fanwood and served in the U. S. Air Force.
She was predeceased by her sister, Virginia Nell Brown and two brothers, Russell and Anthony Johnson. Surviving are two sons, Arthur J. and Walter Johnson; a daughter, Tracey Eastmead; two children that she adopted after her sister Virginia died Anthony Johnson and Stoney Brown; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy Johnson and Jean Cade; and a brother, Kenneth A. Johnson.
Funeral Wednesday 11am in Terrill Bible Chapel, 535 Terrill Rd., Fanwood preceded by viewing at 9am. Interment, Hillside Cemetery of Samptown in South Plainfield. Arrangements by Brown's Funeral Home, Plainfield. Condolences may be expressed at brownsfuneralhome.net.
